It’s The Wiz Month at Soul Music Society. We can’t talk about The Wiz without highlighting one of its most memorable songs, “Don’t Nobody Bring Me No Bad News,” which was performed by the character Evilene portrayed by American actress and singer Mabel King and the Winkies. Mabel King is known for portraying Evillene the Witch, a role she originated in the stage musical The Wiz and reprised in Sidney Lumet’s 1978 film adaptation. And she DID THAT!!
