We’re still celebrating The Wiz this month at Soul Music society. Here’s a scene from The Emerald City! It is a showcase of our beautiful culture, music, and our everlasting soul. Musical giant Quincy Jones was the composer and Charlie Smalls was the lyricist. Keep in mind that this movie is from ‘78! It’s the ingenuity of it all for me! And can we get into how mesmerizing these dancers and singers are?
